Huetiful’s heritage comes from the Dominican Republic and Harlem (the Washington Heights neighborhood to be exact). Spun off from a Dominican beauty care company and lead by executives from the personal care industry, Huetiful builds upon its Dominican roots with insights and research provided from some of the leading Washington Heights salons. Washington Heights – or simply “The Heights” – is where some of the leading edge hair styling techniques are nurtured because of its diverse population, hair types and hair textures. The name, Huetiful, references “hues” or many colors and shades.

At Huetiful, we’re committed to finding and creating beauty care solutions, products and services for Women of Color (or Hues). With beauty care needs often ignored by mainstream and even so-called ethnic beauty companies, our consumers deserve unique products designed especially for them. That is the Huetiful Promise.
